Double Prism & Displacement Reflection Prism

A unique prism that can rotate the image obtained from the exit surface by twice the rotation angle of the prism. Available with or without coating.

The TECHSPEC double prism, when rotated around its long axis, produces an image from the exit surface that rotates twice the angle of rotation. For example, if the prism is rotated 90°, the image is inverted by 180°. You can choose between a type with VIS 0° multi-AR coating applied to both the incident and exit surfaces, and an uncoated type without any coating. The VIS 0° multi-coating maximizes transmission efficiency in the visible range. It is designed to provide an optimal image without chromatic aberration when light is incident in parallel. The top surface of the prism has a sanded finish. Note that there is no beveling on the edge of dimension B. ■ Functions as a displacement reflection prism and double prism depending on the presence of coating ■ Functions as a double prism that acts as an image rotator to rotate the image ■ A displacement reflection prism with a 360° constant angle that shifts the optical axis parallel and returns it to the original direction *You can download the catalog from Edmund Optics Japan from the link below.

List of retroreflective prisms

Short delivery time for stock sales! All items available for sale from one piece.

Edmund Optics offers both framed and frameless retroreflective prisms with a range of coating options. The reflective surfaces of the prisms are available with enhanced reflective coatings, including aluminum and silver. Additionally, the incident surfaces are available with VIS 0° anti-reflective coatings. Due to their complex shapes, securing retroreflective prisms can sometimes be challenging. To facilitate system integration, framed corner cubes with ¼-20UNC tapped holes are also available. For more details, please visit the official Edmund Optics website via the link below.
